Tree Lovers Society has been working towards Clean and Green Bathinda since 2019. Our major works in Plantation are
Tree Plantation
Roadside plantation by society plays a crucial role in improving urban and rural landscapes. It enhances environmental quality by reducing air pollution, providing shade, and lowering temperatures. Various roads like Thandi Sadak, Road Opposite Civil Hospital, Goniana road etc were planted with Native Trees. A Total of 10000 trees have been planted by the society in different areas of the city.
Miawaki Forest
5 Miawaki Forests have been created by the society in order to enhance the green cover of the city. Miyawaki Forest is a method of afforestation that creates dense, native forests in a short time. These forests grow 10 times faster, are 30 times denser, and require minimal maintenance after the initial growth phase. Various roads like Thandi Sadak, Road Opposite Civil Hospital, Goniana road etc were planted with Native Trees. A Total of 10000 trees have been planted by the society in different areas of the city.
Sahan Ton Vanjhe Rukh
In addition to planting new trees the society is working for the revival of old trees which are dying due to concretisation or non removal of old tree guards. Our team has removed many of the old tree guards from the grown up trees and deconcretised the base of old trees to let them breathe freely.
Plants Bank
A Plants Bank have been operational since 2021 where everyday plants are distributed free to residents. A variety of Herbal, Flowering and Native plants are being distributed.
PROJECT MARIGOLD
Project Marigold is an initiative of the Tree Lovers Society to make Marigolds bloom at every household by free distribution of saplings and creating awareness regarding Cultural significance and Medicinal uses of it. Every year thousands of Marigold plants are distributed free of cost to the city residents under this initiative.

Project Moringa is an initiative of Tree Lovers Society to plant and promote the Miracle tree Moringa Oleifera to people. Moringa is a versatile plant with numerous health benefits.In year 2024 more than 10000 Moringa Trees were distributed in the Bathinda for plantation at different places.
